We run a range of programmes to support young creatives and those who work with them to feel empowered, celebrate their culture and creativity, and to work towards careers within the creative industries.
Our Programmes
Rap Club in your School
Bring a rap club into your school or youth club!
These weekly clubs are safe spaces for young people to express, explore/celebrate their cultures, and refine their creative talents. Our rap clubs develop excellence in creative outcome, with projects performing at high profile locations and individuals going on to careers within the creative industries.
Led by one of our Rap Club Leaders. Most are alumni from our programmes, ensuring a unique understanding of the experience of your young people. They are exceptional professional artists regularly performing, writing and in some cases acting in film - ideally placed to inspire your young people.
Weekly or Occasional. Most of our rap clubs run on a weekly basis. This consistent presence ensures effective progress for young creatives and means the Rap Club Leader is a more consistent presence for them, which supports with school engagement. As these are often oversubscribed, we also offer one-off or occasional rap clubs for those who want to give their young people the opportunity to celebrate their cultures.
Creative Development & Behaviour Change. We pride ourselves on the creative excellence the young people in our rap clubs achieve. We also recognise the significant impact our programmes have on young people considered at risk of school exclusion and/or serious youth violence.
Locations
We currently run regular Rap Club projects across both London and Birmingham, including a partnership with Ark Schools.

Teacher Training
Develop your practice and inspire your young people!
Understanding the cultures of the young people you work with can be challenging but very rewarding for both your young people and your personal wellbeing. It is often difficult for teachers to access training that reflects this need. Teachers also often recognise the need for a broad curriculum that reflects the passions of the young people in their care. However, curriculums around modern music cultures - in particular rap - are either lacking in rigour or non-existent, as is any training to accompany this.
In response to this need, we offer a range of training programmes. Due to our wide-ranging work and the lack of credible alternatives, this is often significantly over-subscribed. Therefore we recommend teachers reach out to join our mailing list for slots.
We are passionate in our belief that all young people deserve a high quality creative education that both reflects their passions (whilst introducing them to new cultures) and enables them to access the range of careers available within the creative industries. Therefore, our training programmes are sometimes available for free (where the young people supported meet a certain need). Register your interest.
Online Courses
& Resources
We recognise the significant need for our work. Therefore, we are building online resources both for teachers and young people so that they can access aspects of the Rap Club programme remotely and find opportunities to develop their craft. Resources will include: lesson plans, teaching resources, rap tutorials, rap exercises, how to… (industry breakdowns) and more!
